Health is more than a condition of the physical body - it is a reflection of harmony within the integrated aspects of body, mind, and spirit which I refer to as the Total Self. Because your natural state of being is one of health, the Total Self is trying to guide you towards health. It does this through messages which you usually perceive as negative symptoms in the body or a sense of unhappiness, anxiety, or discomfort. And as such, your first impulse is to get rid of those uncomfortable symptoms. On some level you know that food can either keep you healthy or create imbalance and contribute to lack of vital health. The question is, do you know how to make the best food choices for you individually? And this is what Ayurveda, or the science of life, does amazingly well - it helps you make sense of your individual needs from moment to moment in relation to the continually changing outer influences. You will learn how to apply Ayurvedic eating principles to take the guess work out your food choices and instead feel confident making decisions to support your unique needs.
